Thank you for your hard work over the last eight weeks! For this week, I would like you to run two miles and take the rest of the week off. I would suggest running Monday and taking the next two days off! You really need to get that full recovery in before race day!
Next Thursday on race day, you should come dressed in layers. You can always take layers off, if your cold your stuck cold! Hats, gloves, wind resistant light jacket, and a base layer are recommended! The weather says 30 degrees with 40% chance of snow (our cold weather runs are going to pay off).
You will definitely want to warm up before the race so jog some laps around the area to get your blood flowing and muscles warm!
