No matter your reason for enrolling your child in swim lessons, the top priority is always preventing accidental drowning. The Ridge offers 2-week sessions with 4 lessons each, focusing on safety skills and preparing young swimmers for water emergencies. These lessons will cover essential skills such as managing wave action for ocean safety, river safety, proper use of life jackets, assisting someone in trouble, and the exciting challenge of swimming to safety while fully clothed. Safety week will emphasize emergency prevention by teaching children the rules, the importance of never swimming alone, and the necessity of always wearing a life jacket.

This program is designed for children ages 4-7 who are comfortable swimming underwater but need to enhance their understanding of various aquatic environments and learn how to respond to emergencies.
