Camp FAQs

How do I register for Camps?

Please note: each child needs to be registered separately. If you are a member be sure to use the email associated with your account to get member pricing.

How old should my child be to attend camps?

PIR and Holiday Camps: 5-10 years old
Summer Camps: Fit Tots 3-5 years old and potty trained or Fit Kids 6-12 years old.

Please note: exceptions will no longer be made to the age groups. Your child must meet all age requirements for the days they are enrolled. We plan our activities based on these ages and it is important to their safety that they meet the minimum age requirements.

Is food provided?

A morning and afternoon snack is provided! Please bring a healthy nut-free lunch.

What is the schedule of a typical camp day?

Camp starts at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm. In an effort to keep the kids engaged we try to switch up the schedule from day to day. But the activities we do include sports, kids group fitness classes, STEM play, swimming, arts and crafts, and games. We will always swim in the morning and lunch will always be at 12:30.

When is payment due and is there a refund policy?

Early bird bookings can pay in four installments. The first being at sign up in January or February and the remaining three falling in March, April and May.

After early bird enrollment closes, payment is due in full at the time of booking. There is a 25% non-refundable deposit for full camp and each week of camp. If you should need to cancel, please reach out to camps@ridgeathletic.com. Cancellations require a weeks notice for partial refund and cancellations within the week will not be issued a refund.

What if I can't pick my child up on time?

As camp can be a long day of activities and physical movement, we ask that you ensure your child is picked up no later than 4:30pm. In case of emergencies, we can accommodate by checking your child into our Ridge Kids childcare area for one additional hour at the member or guest rate.

Does my child have to attend all 5 days?

We offer both a full camp and weekly enrollment option for our Summer Camp. Enrollment for all camps will be on a weekly M-F basis. If your child is unable to attend a certain day of the week’s camp you have booked, refunds or make-up days will not be allowed.

What if my child is sick?

In order to keep a healthy environment for both the kids and our staff we ask that you keep your child at home if they have been sick in the last 24 hours. Pool Rules state that anyone who has experienced vomiting or diarrhea cannot enter the pool within 24 hours of the last incident. Refunds will not be issued for missed days.

Do I need a membership to enroll my child in Camp?

No, non-members are welcome to enroll at the non-member price!
