Exciting news…we are going to have a new guest blogger, January!  January was one of our successful 20 Pound Challenge participants and is now continuing her success by training with Krista.  She’ll be blogging about the highs, lows, struggles, and joys of reaching her goal weight, being a mom, and everything in between.  Follow her along her journey; here’s a peek at her experience as she first started the program that helped her get on the right path…

“My attitude towards fitness changed on September 12th, 2011. This day was the introductory meeting for the 20 Pound Challenge. I had no idea what to expect & I was so nervous. Would I fail again? Would this be another program I would sign up for & not complete? Would the employees & members of The Ridge be nice?

The 20 pound challenge was an amazing, life changing experience. I have felt great & been so happy since the final day. Not only did I complete the program but I lost 20 plus pounds.

Josh and Krista are amazing trainers! They really want to see everyone succeed. They are so encouraging & positive but tough.

One more thing, you guys have been awesome. I have never had an experience like this before. I used to belong to another gym in town & I would never consistently go. I felt insecure & intimidated. I would never try the classes except spinning because I was always worried about what everyone else thought.  I LOVE The Ridge! I have not felt uncomfortable from the day I started. I know a lot of this has to do with you guys, Josh, Krista & all the other staff & members.” — January
